New Moon in Capricorn Fresh Start 2024
January 11th New Moon in Capricorn.
This new moon with tenacious goat energy helps to jump-start 2024 in all your endeavors with resourcefulness, discipline and wisdom to focus on what matters.
A significant astrological goings-on has to do with the planet Pluto. Last year in 2023 Pluto was in Aquarius from March 23 to June 11, and then moved into Capricorn. In 2024 Pluto will move from Capricorn and into Aquarius on January 20ththrough September 1st. During the fall season Pluto will be in retrograde and shift back into Capricorn until November 19th. It returns in Aquarius until March 8, 2043. Wow! For a slow moving planet it’s been pretty busy.
Fun fact: the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was in 1778.

What I’ve gleaned:
Super Full Moon or New Moon is when the Moon’s illumination occurs close to the time of the Moon’s perigee – meaning when the Moon’s approach is closer to the Earth, so it illuminates brightly.
Micro New Moon or Full Moon occurs close to the time of the Moon’s apogee – meaning the Moon is a bit further away from the Earth so the Moon’s illumination is softer.
